5 Working From Home Tips

WFH - ROUTINE

Start your day off right!

 

Set yourself a routine, get up at 6 o’clock, do some yoga (maybe), have a coffee. What you do, is up to you really, but sticking to a routine will stop that “lost” feeling!

 

WFH - GET DRESSED

Dress to impress!

 

It might be tempting to sit in your dressing gown all day, but getting dressed to work puts you in the right frame of mind.
The three piece suit and cuff links might be a little unnecessary, but an ironed shirt and matching socks wouldn’t hurt.

 

WFH - GET SOME AIR

Get some fresh air!

 

Did you know the outdoors still exists?
Step into the garden, walk around the block and
stretch your legs, whatever.
20% of the fresh air you breathe powers your brain.
More air = more brain power, basically.

Pick up the phone!

 

Have a conversation with someone. You might be in a different office, but phones are still a thing.
A verbal conversation is important to stop feelings of loneliness.

Don’t call me though, I won’t answer…

 

WFH - TAKE A BREAK

Have a break, have a…

 

Coffee, or something. Anything that gives you a reason to stand up, stretch, walk to the fridge and back. 
You don’t have to be glued to your desk!

So, go on… go get another bag of crisps…
